explored a variety of types of figurative language: similes, metaphors, alliterations, onomatopeoias, hyperboles using Peeps for inspiration.
Students explored their Peep with their five senses to inspire their figurative language writing.
After learning about each type of sentence, we worked together through a slideshow that gave several examples of each sentence type using peeps for inspiration and to provide an example for students to follow.
