Orange Shirt Day

Our class recognized Orange Shirt Day on September 30th. This is a day to honour the Indigenous children that were sent away to residential schools in Canada. We read the books "When I was Eight" by Christy Jordan-Fenton and "Stolen Words" by Melanie Florence. We also completed an "Every Child Matters" writing activity where the students wrote about why THEY matter.

Math

XtraMath Daily Practice

XtraMath is our daily math fact practice. The students will progress through addition, subtraction, multiplication and division levels at their own rate.

Please click on the picture to the left to be directed to the XtraMath sign in page. I highly recommend that they use this site to practice their math facts at home. Mastery of their math facts will make learning more complex concepts a lot easier.
