In this mosaic course, students will lay the groundwork for Career Education 10, a course required for graduation, through tasks involving self-assessment, goal setting, and research. They will begin to understand that careers do not just happen, but are a result of planning, perseverance, decisions, and both internal and external influences. In investigating the question "Who am I?", students will embark on an exploration of self to better equip themselves with the tools necessary to make informed and healthy decisions that will impact their future. 

Career and Life Exploration 10 | CLE--10

This is a required course for grade 10, offering students individual opportunities to acquire the knowledge and competencies necessary for success in school, in the workplace, and in their daily lives. Throughout the course, students explore significant concepts such as work-life balance, personal networking, factors of career planning, the global economy, and the essential steps of goal setting. 

This course is required for graduation.

Career Life Connection 12 |MCLC-12

In Career Life Connections 12, students delve deeper into the complexities of career-life development. They engage in ongoing cycles of exploring, planning, reflecting, adapting, and deciding. This course emphasizes that career-life decisions are influenced by internal and external factors, including local and global trends. It encourages students to embrace networks and reciprocal relationships, which can guide and broaden their career-life awareness and options. Furthermore, students will explore the importance of sense of purpose and career-life balance in supporting overall well-being. The course also highlights the significance of lifelong learning and active citizenship, which foster career-life opportunities for individuals and their communities.
