Editor: As the editor of this horror film, my intention is to create a logical and consistent narrative so the audience can follow the storyline without confusion. A cohesive and engaging narrative maintains the suspense and horror of the scene and guides the audience to emphasize the emotional journey of the protagonist through smooth editing, allowing the audience to connect emotionally with her fears and desperation. I need to use some tips when I am editing such as using slow motion to emphasize horror scenes and using flashbacks to highlight the creepy of “fake people”.This requires me to communicate and collaborate with the cinematographer on shots we are going to take before shooting. Visual storytelling(Montage) is basically what the editor trying to do. An editor needs to put different clips together to form a story. I need to choose shots that best convey the atmosphere of isolation and dread experienced by the protagonist.
