A young teenager who is facing loneliness starts a “spiritual” trip away from his messy home
Void portrays a young person's battle with lonlieness and mental turmoil. The young person feel lonely and void. The void then turned into anxiety and scary, the young person feel overwhelmed and then rush out her room. She felt isolated and walked on the street for no purpose. Her spiritual journey end at the sea and she woke up from the dream. She found that no body text her.
Ryan Pan, a Grade 10 film student studying at UWCSEA East Singapore. He is the editor of this film. Born in China, his unique cultural background has given him an appreciation for diverse screen cultures, enriching his understanding and perspective of global cinema. His passion for film extends beyond mere viewership, as he actively engages in the creative processes of filmmaking. He enjoys deep thinking and reflection brought by film art. My filmmakers Intentions in chosen Filmmaking Role ——cinematographer is To convey an atmosphere of void and loneliness by using POV, over-shoulder, and close-up shots,using warm dim candle light or cold dim nature light,and setting up “lonely” scenes and signs.
