For your first units you will be creating two games to publish on your itch.io page. Both games will require you to follow the process of researching, playtesting and logging your development. Your research should flow clearly into the project. This is preparation for creating prototypes which is required in the industry.
Intent: To start developing skill in games design and Unity.
Implementation: Researching games and getting feedback. Using that to then influence the games being created.
Impact: Game design skills, problem solving, prototyping, programming.
Industry: Creating projects that you can pitch to hire ups.
Soft skills: Problem solving, research, and problem solving.
Maths and English: Write-ups and critical analysis of products.

Work will be assessed in the form of tasks completed on your site and followed by a final assessment. We will being assessing the work on your college site and your final games on Itch.io. Any evidence in other locations will not be accessed.
It is expected all work is reflected on.
