Mrs. Christy

Hello everyone!

My name is Mrs. Lisa Christy and I am ODE’s new music teacher! I am originally from Florida where I graduated with a dual major from the University of South Florida in Music Education and Trombone Performance. Before moving to Horry County this summer, I taught for 3 ½ years at Seminole Elementary School in Pinellas County, Florida. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my husband, Denrey and our pets: Maia the cat, and Daxter and Keira the ferrets. I also enjoy hanging out at the pool and the beach, but I can also be found at home curled up with a good book or playing video games. I can’t wait to meet you all and I am looking forward to all the fun we will have in music this year! See you soon!
