Mrs. Breece

Hi there! My name is Amanda Breece! I am so glad to be a part of the Ocean Drive Family. This is my first year here, and I’m excited to meet and get to know you all.

This year is my fifth year teaching. I went to UNC-Wilmington where I earned my undergraduate and Graduate degrees. I received my masters degree in Language and Literacy, and I love reading and writing! I hope to teach your child a love for those things as well! After I graduated, I taught second grade in Wilmington, NC for one year, and then I moved to Raleigh NC, where I taught for three years. I’m excited to stay in second grade again this year -it’s my favorite grade! :)

I have had a lot of new and exciting things happen over the summer. First, I am new to the Myrtle Beach area. I moved here over the summer, from Raleigh North Carolina. I LOVE the beach, and I’m so excited to be here! I also got married this summer, and bought a new house! Life has been crazy, but also so very exciting! I’m happy to be here at Ocean Drive Elementary, and I can’t wait for the year to get started!! I’m excited to get to know you and your child. Let’s make it great!!
