Mrs. Woodson

Hi! I’m Julie Woodson and I teach 2nd grade here at ODE! This is my 15th year teaching. Most of my years have been in 2nd grade but I did teach 3rd grade for 2 years. Interestingly enough I grew up here in North Myrtle Beach and actually attended this school for kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade. Once a Chief, always a Chief!

I graduated from Coastal Carolina in 2006 and earned my Master’s degree in Technology in Education shortly after through Lesley University. I am also National Board Certified. I have two girls of my own who attend ODE. Kaylee will be in 5th grade and McKenzie will be in 1st grade. I can’t wait to meet my new students and families for this school year. Although this year looks much differently than ever before, I truly believe it will be the best one yet!
