Mrs. Long

Hi new CD families! My name is Mrs. Long and I will be your child’s teacher this year! I am so excited to partner with you this year to make it a success! My husband Stephen and I live in Little River with our dog Oyster. We love to spend time on our boat or at the beach. Some of my favorite things are Ohio State football (GO BUCS!), Coastal Carolina football tailgating (GO CHANTS!), Dunkin Donuts, and every kind of Flair Pen I can find! I also make polymer clay earrings and love to bake! This will be my fifteenth year teaching. During my career, I have taught grades CD through third grade. My Bachelor’s Degree is in Early Childhood Education from North Greenville University and Master’s Degree is in Educational Leadership from Coastal Carolina University. I currently serve on the HCS Ed Tech Task Force, am an HCS Influencer, Seesaw Ambassador, and I’m working on becoming an Apple Certified Teacher and Google Certified Teacher. I can’t wait to meet your child and family and have an awesome school year!
