Markers are used in TVA for:
defining camera ranges for the Heat Map
constraining camera aims at a specific point
measuring distances between two points
identifying occlusions and individual camera visibility of markers
Marker types can be adjusted to account for specific marker sizes that are used in a volume.
TVA currently supports the following marker types:
19.0 mm passive marker
14.0 mm passive marker
9.5 mm passive marker
Active Bare LED
Active Diffused LED
Please note: Certain cameras such as the SlimX series are active-only cameras. and cannot track passive markers. The Flex cameras are only passive tracking cameras and cannot track active markers. Please select the marker type that is appropriate for your selected camera.
The default marker size for the Heat Map can be set in the application settings, prior to creating a new volume. Once a volume is created, the marker size can be changed via the Heat Map options in the main inspector
