Adding Cameras

Cameras can be added to a project and moved around the volume to replicate the intended position in a physical volume.  

New cameras can be added to the project but are only made visible to the currently active [Layout]. Other [Layouts] will require the camera to be unhidden. 

The Optitrack cameras currently available in TVA include:

• PrimeX 120

• PrimeX  120W 

• PrimeX 41

• PrimeX 41W

• PrimeX 22

• PrimeX 13

• PrimeX 13W

• SlimX 120

• SlimX 120W

• SlimX 41

• SlimX 41W

• SlimX 13

• Flex 13

• Flex 3

• Prime Colors

Adding Cameras to Truss

1. Select the truss you want to add a camera to.  

If there is no upright, a single camera can be added to a corner where two horizontal truss pieces meet.

2. Select Add Cameras button from the inspector.

3. Select the type of camera you want to add to the truss.

Cameras are spread evenly across the truss by default. See [moving cameras](moving-cameras) to learn how to position them to specific locations.

To remove a camera, press the [Delete] key. 

Adding Freely-Positioned Cameras

1. Select empty space to return to the default selection.

2. In the Scene hierarchy, select Create Free Camera.

3. Select the type of camera you want to add to the scene.

A freely positioned camera will be created near the scene origin.

Select a corner of the truss (if you can't select the corner, move the camera) and select Add/Remove Upright

Changing Camera Type

1. Select a camera and press Edit Camera.

2. Select the type of camera you want.

Currently camera types cannot be set when multi-selected.
