Study Skills 4-8

Through the infusion of this curriculum in grades 4-8 and specific courses taught to students in grades 6-8, students will obtain the skills needed to be successful in their studying habits and performance on assessments. Specifically, students will work on organizing and using their planner daily, identifying study habits that are effective, time management, communicating appropriately with their teachers for self-advocacy, and learning test taking strategies that will help them better understand the questions at hand. Ultimately, students will have a better understanding of the necessary components they need to be a successful student.
