Define “unsustainable”
Exploring What is Unsustainable - Students work in a group of four. I will give each group an article to read together. Students read articles in small groups and become experts in their group. NAMES FIRST!!!!
Though each student will have their own copy of the article, groups will read together following the instructions here:
number off 1-4.
Person 1 reads,
person 2 summarizes,
person 3 states whether or not summary is accurate and provides clarification if necessary,
person 4 reads next section, person 1 summarizes, etc.
Students reconvene in attendance seats. One person from each group shares to the class what the problems are with unsustainable practices in their topic. Students will be asked to share their ideas on the following:
who do you think will this be hard for?
who is going to say, “I don’t want to do that.” or “It will be too expensive.”
****IMPORTANT **** Why do we need to ask these last questions?
