IDEA 2004 requires TEA to make annual determinations (ratings) about the special education program performance of all LEAs in the state (34 CFR§300.616). This determination is made using the following categories:

Meets Requirements; 

Needs Assistance;

Needs Intervention; and 

Needs Substantial Intervention
