PEIMS/TSDS/SAAH
The Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) encompasses all data requested and received by TEA about public education, including student demographic and academic performance, personnel, financial, and organizational information.
The Texas Student Data System (TSDS) is a statewide system that modernizes and improves the quality of data collection, management, and reporting in Texas education.
The Student Attendance Accounting Handbook (SAAH) contains the official attendance accounting requirements that all public school districts and open-enrollment charter schools in Texas must meet.

The student attendance data asked for in an audit must be organized into three distinct data sets: the Student Detail Report, the Campus Summary Report, and the District Summary Report.
Your district must generate Student Detail Reports, Campus Summary Reports, and District Summary Reports each six-week reporting period. - p 26
Each six-week reporting period, the campus personnel responsible for ensuring student attendance accounting codes are correct should generate Student Detail Reports and review them for reasonableness. - p 29
Campus Summary Reports should be generated each six-week reporting period and reviewed by the principal for reasonableness. - p 30
District Summary Reports should be generated each six-week reporting period and reviewed by the superintendent or the superintendent’s designee. - p 31
