Incorporating Visuals into Instruction

Visuals are a key component to making content comprehensible, but they are not just the idea of using pictures.  Graphic organizers, non-verbal cues such as gestures, document cameras, illustrated vocabulary cards, word walls and anchor charts are also a part of using visuals.
