For this project you will be creating an FTC legal drivetrain.
For those new to FTC you will start by CADing the kitbot.
You may design the Rev, Studica, GoBilda, or Tetrix Kitbot
Beginners to this concept should begin with Tetrix and use the tutorial below.
You may design a custom drivetrain if you are comfortable with it.
The basic parameters of the drivetrain are:
The drivetrain may be no more than 18" x 18" in footprint.
The drivetrain must have the ability to drive effectively in a robotics match.
The drivetrain must have a place for the following components:
A Battery (Rev or Tetrix)
Present your Drivetrain as a orthographic and isometric drawing in your ePortfolio.
The drawing should include:
Multiple pages
Detail views with text showing important parts of the robot design (eg. a wheel assembly or power switch assembly)
