Preparing a Canvas and Tracing

In this assignment you will re-create stencils and then create your own.  All Stencils need to have the ability to be 3d printed or laser cut out of 4.5mm wood/acrylic.

1. Please re-create 2 stars and 2 flowers from:

• Stencil JPGs

2. Demonstrate your knowledge of this procedure by creating 2 stencils from images you find. 

3. All stencils created should have a method to be attached together

4. To include in e-Portfolio Folder

   1. Description of your Design Process including pictures of final product

   2. Technical Drawings

   3. Fusion files

   4. Bill of Materials

Materials you can use for this project are:

• 3D Printed plastic

• Laser cut acrylic (5.5 mm)

• Laser cut wood (6.35mm)

• Various lengths of m3 bolts and nuts.

• Various lengths of 1/4-20 bolts and nuts.

• Any other materials if cleared with your teacher.
