Professional Development Funding is available to each school with a TFI teacher(s) by the Department to support teacher career development and increase job satisfaction. Funding of $11,120 is available to each school per TFI teacher(s) across a two year period with $5,560 available each financial year, including 5 days of time release.
The Professional Development Funding is available to support the cost of professional development programs, travel, and time release. The Professional Development Funding can support a teacher’s Performance and Development Plan (PDP), and more broadly, the school’s Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) and Strategic Plan (SSP). The funding may also benefit other teachers at the school through collaborative learning and sharing of professional development.
