Inclusive Recruitment e-Learn module
The Inclusive Recruitment e-Learn module is available on eduPay.
Once you have logged into eduPay, click on 'My LearnED' then type 'inclusive' in the search field.
The online learning duration is 20 minutes.
This module will support school leadership teams to better understand unconscious bias and practical steps they can take to make the recruitment process more inclusive.
After completing the module learners will:
Understand why inclusive recruitment is important
understand diversity and inclusion and its importance for the Department of Education and Training
understand the impact of unconscious bias on recruitment processes and decisions
be aware of the range of strategies that can be employed to:
increase the diversity of applicants for roles
reduce barriers for diverse applicants to apply and participate in inclusive recruitment processes
reduce the impact of biases on the recruitment process and decisions
know how to implement inclusive recruitment practices
know where to go to get further support.
