Reimbursement funding guidelines

The reimbursement funding guidelines (PDF, 264kb) document will provide you with information about the three key funding initiatives available to schools which are supported through the Supporting Teachers at Regional and Rural Schools (STARRS):

• Network Funding

• Local Coordinator

• Professional Development

It also provides advice and guidance on how to submit claims for reimbursement through the Schools Targeted Funding Governance (STFG) Portal.

Professional Development Funding Guidelines

The professional development funding guidelines (PDF, 194kb) explains that all teachers receiving a Targeted Financial Incentive (TFI) will be supported by the Department to undertake additional professional development, that they identify as appropriate to increase job satisfaction and career development.

This funding would enable participants to undertake:

• The equivalent of one university subject

• Suitable programs offered by the Department’s Professional Learning Catalogue

• Bastow Institute of Educational Leadership

• VIT endorsed programs for qualified teachers

• Other approved programs
