Unit 1: Chemistry
In Unit 1, students investigate the structure and properties of materials, including metals, ionic and covalent compounds, and polymers. They learn how chemical quantities are measured, explore sustainable manufacturing, and conduct practical investigations involving chemical reactions, separations, and polymer synthesis.

Unit 2: Chemistry

Students conduct practical investigations involving the specific heat capacity of water, acid-base and redox reactions, solubility, molar volume of a gas, volumetric analysis, and the use of a calibration curve.

Unit 3: Chemistry

Unit 4: Chemistry

They use chemical terminology, formulas, and equations to analyse data and evaluate chemistry-based claims.
