Winter PSSA TPL 2025

Yesterday evening, we held our annual Winter PSSA Teacher Professional Learning session at West Pennant Hills Public School. This event plays a vital role in enhancing teachers' skills across various topics, including rules, interpretations, and umpiring scenarios, in preparation for our Winter Stage 2 and Stage 3 netball and soccer competitions. We conduct these sessions before our PSSA Interschool Sport Competitions to address the challenges we face as educators at PSSA sport and to refine some of the rules.

It was a very productive and successful evening. Thank you to Mrs. Olympia Berios from West Pennant Hills Public School for allowing us to use your school for this learning opportunity and for providing the equipment for the demonstrations.

A big shout-out to Mrs Mel Willcox from Normanhurst West Public School for leading the soccer session, and to Mrs Jade Bell from Cherrybrook Public School for leading the netball. The three of you are amazing; our students across our Member Schools are very fortunate to have such dedicated staff.

On behalf of our students, thank you to all the teachers who attended, contributing to the development, improvement, and consistency of our PSSA Interschool Competitions.
