This is happening in 2024 because the 2025 NSWPSSA Girls Cricket Championship will be held in the early weeks of 2025. This is as a result of the timing of the 2025 School Sport Australia Championships. Therefore, the Sydney North Primary Girls Cricket trials will be held Term 1 Week 1 of 2025. As a result of this our Beecroft Zone Representatives need to be selected and submitted to Sydney North this term.

Trial is open to students in Year 4 and 5 in 2024 for 2025 when they are in Years 5 and 6.

The Zone Convenor is asking for Nominations through schools for girls in year 4 or 5 who: 

• • • • Representitive Players

      • Play in a high level team on the weekend

      • Very talented cricketers

      • Are not average players. 

      • Possess a very high level of skills and understanding of Cricket. 

This is a popular sport and fiercely contested trial traditionally.

Successfully Nominated Students:

•  will receive a Trial Permission Note from their school sport coordainator.

  • • This Zone Trial Note must be presented to the convenor at the trial fully filled out and signed by:

      • • • Sports Coordinator

          • Principal

    • No note, no trial.

Additional Information from the convenor:

• Boys are to bring their own cricket equipment including 1 cricket ball for the trials. They are to be in appropriate cricket attire or school sport uniform with a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, recess and lunch. 

• Please note only 8 students will be selected to represent Beecroft Zone at the Sub Area Trials. 

  • • These 8 are not a cricket team; they are the best 8 in any combination of positions. 

• All parents need to sign in the visitor book at the office.
