The Zone Convenor is asking for Nominations from experienced divers who can fulfil all requirements of their respective age group:

• Springboard boys & girls primary 8 years

• Springboard boys & girls primary 9 years

• Springboard boys & girls primary 10 years

• Springboard boys & girls primary 11 years

• Springboard boys & girls primary 12/13 years

Age is determined by the age turned during the current calendar year. (age as at 31 December)

SPRINGBOARD:

• 8/9 years boys & girls – 3 dives

  • • 1 dive @ 1.5 degree of difficulty or less

    • 2 dives with no limit on degree of difficulty

• 10/11 years boys & girls – 3 dives

  • • 1 dive @1.6 degree of difficulty or less

    • 2 dives from 2 groups with no limit on degree of difficulty

    • PLUS 1 dive to fulfil requirements for School Sport Australia Championships Diving (if nominating for selection)

    • 2 dives from 2 groups @ 3.6 degree of difficulty or less

    • 2 dives with no limit of difficulty

• 12/13 years boys & girls – 4 dives

  • • 2 dives from 2 groups @ 3.6 degree of difficulty or less

    • 2 dives with no limit of difficulty

    • PLUS 1 dive to fulfil requirements for School Sport Australia Championships Diving (if nominating for selection)

    • 3 dives from 3 groups @ 5.4 degree of difficulty or less

    • 2 dives from 2 groups with no limit of difficulty

    • Dives may be performed from either the 1m and/or the 3m springboard

PLATFORM

• Open Boys and Girls – 3 dives

  1. • 1 dive @ 1.6 degree of difficulty limit

     • 2 diver with no limit on degree of difficulty

     • PLUS 1 dive to fulfil requirements for School Sport Australia Championships Diving (if nominating for selection)

     • 2 dives from 2 groups @ 3.6 degree of difficulty or less

     • 2 dives from 2 groups with no limit on degree of difficulty

     • Dives may be performed from 5m platform only

There is no Zone Trial for Diving, names are passed on to Sydney North for verification of above criteria by Diving NSW Coaches.

Successfully Nominated Students:

• will receive a Trial Permission Note from their school sport coordainator.

  • This Zone Trial Note must be presented to the convenor at the trial fully filled out and signed by:

    • Sports Coordinator

    • Principal

  • No note, no trial.
