2023 Zone Tennis Convenor:

The Zone Convenor is asking for Nominations through schools for boys & girls in year 5 or 6 who: 

• • • Play competition tennis at high-grade competition level 

    • Can serve, return serve and volley.

    • Are not average or social players. 

    • Possess a very high level of skill and understanding of tournament/competition tennis.

It is acceptable not to send any students from your school if nobody meets the above criteria.

Date:   - Monday 20 February 

Venue:  - Pennant Hills Tennis Courts

Time:  - 9:00am for a 9:30 start. Finish at approximately 1:30pm. 

Cost:  Nil

Pathway to be selected in the Sydney North Team:

1. 1. 1. 1. Nominations must be through your school sport coordinator

         2. Beecroft Zone Selection - 3 boys, 3 girls

         3. Sydney North Selection Trial

Successfully Nominated Students:

•  will receive a Trial Permission Note from their school sport coordinator.

  • • This Zone Trial Note must be presented to the convenor at the trial fully filled out and signed by:

      • • • Sports Coordinator

          • Principal

    • No note, no trial.

Additional Information from the convenor:

• Students need to bring:

  • • Own tennis racquet (balls will be supplied)

    • Face Mask (encouraged to be worn where possible when not playing).

  • Water bottle and Food

  • permission Note

• Students to wear school sports uniform and appropriate footwear.

• Students are to check-in with the convenor on arrival to hand in their permission note. If they do not have a signed permission note (by all necessary parties) they will not be able to participate in the trials.
