The Zone Convenor is asking for Nominations through schools for boys & girls in year 5 or 6 who: 

• play Representative basketball or are in a high-grade basketball team e.g., Division 1.

• are not an average player.

• possess a very high level of skills and understanding in basketball.

Boys Basketball Trial

DATE: Monday 6 March 2023
VENUE: Brickpit Stadium: 1A Dartford Rd, Thornleigh 2120

TIME: Boys: 1:30pm for a 1:45pm start. Finish by 3:00pm.

Girls Basketball Trial

DATE: 13 March 2023
VENUE: Brickpit Stadium: 1A Dartford Rd, Thornleigh 2120
TIME: Girls: 2:15pm for a 2:30pm start. Finish at approx.3:00pm.
COST: Nil

Successfully Nominated Students:

•  will receive a Trial Permission Note from their school sport coordinator.

  • • This Zone Trial Note must be presented to the convenor at the trial fully filled out and signed by:

      • • • Sports Coordinator

          • Principal

    • No note, no trial.

Additional Information from the convenor:

• Please note that we will be combining with Ryde Zone PSSA for this trial. 

• 9 boys and 9 girls from will be selected at this combined trial to attend the Sydney North Trials. 

• Students need to bring:

  • • Appropriate clothing for the Basketball Trials.

    • Own basketball.

    • Face Mask (to be worn while not involved in play).

    • Water bottle.

    • Permission Note.

• Students are to check in with the convenor on arrival to hand in their permission note. If they do not have a signed permission note (by all necessary parties) they will not be able to participate in the trials.
