Zone Cross Country POSTPONED
At today’s Term 2 Beecroft Zone Meeting, it was decided that the Zone Cross Country Carnival, originally scheduled for Thursday, 22nd May, has been postponed due to saturated conditions at Fagan Park and the closure of the overflow car park.
The event will now take place on the back-up date of 29th May, and all other details will remain the same. Additionally, we have secured a further back-up date of Thursday, 5th June, should it be needed.
Each competitor receives a place card when they finish their race, this is the points their school receives.
Points are given to a maximum of 5 competitors, with a maximum of 105 points
Students who gain qualification to the Carnival as a Special Entry do not receive points for their school.
If a school has fewer then 5 competitors or fewer than 5 finish they receive 105 points for those places.
Champion School is awarded to the school with the highest total points overall from the carnival.
Champion School Based on Enrolment is calculated on total points overall multiplied by the school's 3-6 Enrolment Numbers, lowest score overall is the Champion School Based on Enrolment.
Team Point Score is an team award for each race - 8 of these banners are awarded:
Each school's lowest 4 scores are added together to determine the team score.
Schools who do not have 4 runners entered or finish the race will be awarded maximum points for each position: 105 points
The Champion Team Point Score is the lowest combined individual 4 scores from all schools per event.
