LET’S SIGN is the name of the series of publications that has been developed over the last 25 or so years and began life as DeafBooks – an independent producer and publisher of BSL materials for adults and children.

All of the books, posters and flashcards available directly from our Let’s Sign BSL site are printed and produced in the UK by Alphagraphics Northeast with Kindle versions available from Amazon Kindle.

The School of Signs, bringing British Sign Language to primary school classrooms across the UK.

This fully-fledged programme of study aims to provide every teacher with everything they need to teach BSL, in one place. This includes 15 complete video lessons, led by expert BSL teachers at the Royal Association for Deaf People, as well as all the printable and online resources to support them.

Everything can be accessed through our simple online platform which allows schools to track learners' progress, set homework, and even play BSL games.

Our free online learning modules are designed to help professionals and practitioners working with children and young people with any level of deafness and hearing loss build their knowledge and confidence – all while earning CPD credits.

The course will equip you with a practical understanding of the barriers that signed language users experience in their daily lives and in a variety of work-related sectors such as education, justice, social services and health.

You will learn what good practice looks like across a range of public and private sector contexts and how to enhance your professional practice to promote equity of access for signed language users.
