Tools for Inputting the Schedule

The Scheduler uses the master schedule and student requests in order to schedule students with the highest percentage of filled requests. In the past, this has been called "batching" to see what the percentage  student request are able to be filled.  If you have taken the time to manually layout your schedule, account for the needs and requests of the students, balance planning periods, and make all of the correct selections on the individual section setup screens, you should be able to have a high "batch rate" which means students are able to take the courses they have selected.  If your batch rate is low, you need to go back and look at your settings you have selected on each section as well as the design of your master schedule.
