The compose tab allows users to create new messages (previously Messenger) to selected students and or staff, use a template, create a new portal announcement (previously Portal Messages), and/ or create a new template.
Important Note: In order to receive a message marked Secure, a parent must log into their parent portal account to view the contents.

🦉Linked Users and Contacts
Contacts not linked under the Linked Users sections of Address and Contacts will not receive ANY messages through Focus Communication, even if they have a parent portal account. Please see the documentation on Linking Users to Students to correct this issue and allow for seamless communication.
