Go into the Settings App
On the left side, select Accessibility
Select the different options you want to enable and turn them on.
Use this page to help learn about the different options available. We recommend turning the Accessibility Shortcut On for quick access.
Use this feature to have any highlighted text spoken to the child. This is really helpful for reading directions and questions on Google Docs.
Switch from Light Mode to Dark Mode, Use Night Mode to reduce Blue Light, and adjust the text size.
Change the display and text size to best suite your needs!
You can customize your control center to include Dark/Light Mode, Magnifier, Hearing, Text Size, and Accessibility Shortcuts.

VoiceOver will speak the items on your screen. Tap once to select the item and double tap to activate the selected item and have it speak.
Magnifier uses the camera app to magnify your surroundings.
Zoom will magnify the entire screen. Double tap 3 fingers to turn on/off and drag around.
Turn on Speak Selection and Speak Screen. Also, customize the voice, speaking rate, and pronunciations of words.
You can bold text, make the text larger, turn on button shapes & labels, reduce transparency, and customize the color scheme of the iPad (Increasing contrast, Differentiate without color, Smart/Classic Color Invert, add filters, reduce white point, and turn on auto-brightness.
Reduce the motion effect of icons.
When available, it will automatically play audio descriptions.
Assistive Touch is a great way for students and teachers to customize their iPad with simple touch technology.
