Students at Eyer MS, Lower Macungie MS, and Emmaus HS will be utilizing Schoology. Students do not need access codes to enter their courses.
In order to login, they can follow the four steps listed on the document. There is also a video you can watch!
Please check https://status.schoology.com/ or ask your teacher. Schoology and PowerSchool have outages and issues from time to time that could affect your ability to sign into the platform or partake in a lesson. This website will help you to know if there is a known problem and what steps you may take to rectify the issue.
If there is a known issue, you do not need to enter a Help Desk. This is not an issue that the Tech Department can fix. This issue must be fixed by Schoology or PowerSchool.
Before putting in a help desk ticket, we recommend the following steps to help fix the issue:
Make sure you are logging into the appropriate website. Schoology.com will not work, you must use eastpennsd.schoology.com; the site is bookmarked for all secondary students on their Chrome browser.
When prompted to select your account, make sure you are selecting your East Penn SD Google Account.
Most likely your Google Drive Resources App has become disconnected from your account.
You have two options to reconnect:
1. In an actual Schoology/Google assignment, there is a spot that says "Can't see document? Click here". That will prompt you to reconnect your Drive
2. You can also go to "Resources", then "Apps", then "Google Drive Resource App" and under "Account Settings", log out and then connect
When you click on "Courses" in Schoology, you only see the 1st 12 classes.
Any classes beyond the 1st 12 can be found by clicking on "My Courses".
