For the 2026 - 2027 school year, East Penn School District elementary students will be utilizing Remote Day Activity Sets when a remote learning day is called. K-5 students will no longer have 1:1 devices sent home; therefore, students will engage in independent learning activities.
Select your child's grade level to access all of the resources needed for their remote day learning.
On a Remote Learning Day, your child will have an activity choice board for their special that day. You can download these boards with the links below. The child may choose what activity or activities they want to do.
Primary Specialist Set (K-2) | Intermediate Specialist Set (3-5)
After Septemeber 30th, students will have the first 2 activity sets in an envelope in their backpack at all times. In the event of a Remote Day, you should be able to retrieve the correct set of activities in your child's backpack.
These packets were designed by East Penn elementary teachers based on PA Core Standards & grade level curriculum. In addition many of them are cross-curriucular so they include math and ELA as well as science and social studies. In our younger grades, you will find activities on handwriting and fine motor skills; while the older grades focus on sprial review on non-fiction text.
All packets are available on this page. If you have a printer, you can print them out and they can do them. If you don't have a printer, they can use a separate sheet of paper to do the activities as best as they can!
Yes! The completion/attempt is how the child will get credit for attendance for the day. Every student is given 3 days to turn in the remotle learning set. Any child that does not have it completed will be marked absent for the day.
