This is my rough draft of the "My Culture" project that our class has been working on. It shows my past, present, and future. My identity. Who I am. For this project, I had to answered three main questions: How did I get here, why am I here, and where am I going? Here's a little insider's view of the pathway of the person known to the world as Cheyenne George....
I used an urban background because life is a journey and my whole life, I have lived in the city (ATL).
Near the street sign that says, "How did I get here?," I have a car because that is me and my family's main way of transportation. My mom came from New Jersey and my dad came from Florida (also attended Florida State University.) Also, in the bottom corner, I have the previous schools that I had went to. Lastly, I have family because I wouldn't be able to get anywhere I am now without my family.
Near the "Why am I here?" sign, I have a giant soccer ball, a referee flag, a resume, stairs, and my current school, Drew. I'm at the point in my life now where everything I do is to build myself up and experience the last pleasures of home like playing soccer with my brothers, building up my credibility, and my job (soccer refereeing). I believe that Drew Charter School is the best place to do this.
Near the "Where am I going?" sign, I wrote "Go Blue Jays" because John Hopkins University is one of the colleges that I'm aspiring for to learn more about pre-medicinal practices. Also, I drew a dollar sign because...I mean who doesn't like that moolah?!?
This is my final draft for the "My Culture" project in AP Human Geography. On the left side with the dark-colored sunrise background and at the root of the tree, there are pictures that represent where I come from and how I got here. In the middle with a middle-of-the-day-background and in the middle of the tree, I have things representing why I am here. On the right side with the orange sunset background and at the top of the tree, I have pictures about where I am going and what's my future.
