In this section of my student portfolio, I have displayed pictures and projects from my junior year. Additionally, I've displayed some of my projects below. Here is a link to my google drive photography folder with even more pictures.
My photography class learned about people photography and how to take headshots, portraits, and modeling pictures. We also got a little lesson about positioning and directing a model from another professional taking the seniors' Yearbook photos. After a series of class periods spent taking photos of one another, I created a collage of two headshots, three portraits, and four modeling photos.
This is the second Refresh of my junior year and the first assignment of Semester 2, in which I just brushed up on my photography techniques and styles. This time, I took a combination of two headshots, three portraits, four modeling, and two pictures of each composition.
For this assignment, I created a concept on what Black History means to me, whether it was love, family, education, etc. In my case, I chose to connect the black future with our past. This project included a visual demonstration but also an oral presentation segment, which we did in class.
