GLOBAL SCHOOL PROGRAMME
Delhi Public School Lava, Nagpur becomes part of the Global School Program through the Global School Advocate Ms Shahnaaz Ojha, Educator DPS Lava, Nagpur. The Global School Program is an initiative of the United Nations SDSN(Sustainable Development Solutions Network) in support of UNESCO‘s Education for Sustainability for 2030 roadmaps.
Ms Shahnaaz Ojha completes one month of training along with 300 educators from 80 countries, on crucial aspects of sustainable development and ESD (Education on Sustainable Development). She will be responsible for localizing and integrating global citizenship, sustainability and 21st-century skills into the school community. She will provide students with the knowledge, values, and skills required to work towards a sustainable and prosperous world. The schools signs the -Global School Pledge and the advocate receives a toolkit to guide her in developing long-term strategies to implement ESD. She will be tasked to update her journey every month with the network and also be provided with a mentor to guide her through the implementation strategy.

SDG CLUB PREPARES 3D MODELS OF FLOOD-RESISTANT HOUSES UNDER SDG 15
The students of SDG club, Delhi Public School Lava, Nagpur made models which were resilient to floods. With the rise in rainfall in many parts of the country, floods have become imminent, all due to climate change. To combat floods and adjust to climate change as well as part of the achievement of SDG 15, the SDG club members came up with the idea of
“ Beat the floods”. The students worked in teams for the project.
Students showcased their work on 15th August 2022. Principal Ms Anupama Sagdeo congratulated the students on their good work.

ROAD2RECOVERY
Delhi Public School Lava, Nagpur has always been at the forefront in promoting the students as global citizens to become advocates of environmental movements. Road2Recovery project is the brainchild of the distinguished teacher, Ms Paramjeet Dhillon, who has been decorated with illustrious awards in the field of education
The project Road2Recovery was initiated with the objective to bring the school students to work collaboratively in creating awareness about the 17 SDGs. The “ Back to School” academic session provided the right platform for the students to think creatively and share their thoughts about the SDGs through videos, paintings, murals, drawings and write-ups on various SDGs.
Students participated in various activities like Student Voice, Creative Writing, Make a poster/painting on the topic: Save Paper Save Trees, Build a Better World and a Paper-Mâché Community Activity. Anay Gupta, Ojaswini Chandrakant Tidke, Ritika Tiwari, Pratham Gangwani, Vardaan Kuldeep Chouragade, Saanvi Kumar, Karthik Srinivas Inje, Bhoomi Lanjewar, Shagun Santhosh Tiwari and Matilda Salam participated enthusiastically.
Participation certificates were provided for each month's activity done by the students . Principal Ms Anupama Sagdeo congratulated all the students who had worked hard on the project.
