I AM INDEPENDENT !!!

What is the real meaning of being independent?

An Independent person is someone who is self-reliant. With this thought, the tiny tots of DPS Lava have begun taking small steps towards becoming independent. The children were urged and encouraged to start by organizing their cupboard and bookshelf and making their own beds. The parents gave a demonstration on how to fold clothes and the children followed suit.

These were not just activities conducted for fun but will prove to become life-changing experiences that will inculcate a sense of independence in each child. These activities will not only help hone fine motor and gross motor skills but also prepare them for life ahead.
