I Want a Garden !

Grade I

Students of Grade I got an opportunity to meet the school gardener, who introduced the students to the tools required to take care of the garden. Students interacted with him and asked questions related to gardening. He gave some tips and displayed the tools required to grow plants. The activity was connected to a lesson and a visit to the school garden helped them observe the different types of plants in the surrounding.

Separation of Substances

Grade VI

Students were given various mixtures to separate the components using Winnowing, Threshing and Sieving. They were also given various liquid mixtures to separate the components using the methods of Sedimentation, Decantation and Filtration. The objective was to help the students apply the learnings from science concepts to day-to-day life for separating materials.

सामूहिक गतिविधि - साक्षात्कार

GRADE - VII

समूह कार्य एक व्यवस्थित एवं सक्रिय शिक्षण विधा है जो छात्रों के छोटे समूहों को मिलाकर सीखने के सरल लक्ष्य की प्राप्ति हेतु कार्य करने को प्रोत्साहित करती है | कक्षा 7वीं ‘अ और ब में छात्रों को नदियाँ बनाकर सामूहिक रूप से उनका साक्षात्कार लेने को कहा गया | छात्रों में मौखिक अभिव्यक्ति के विकास हेतु उन्हें प्रेरित करने तथा खेल -खेल में निबंध का भाव सीखने -सिखाने के उद्देश्य से कक्षा 7 वी ‘अ और ब’ के विद्यार्थियों के लिए गतिविधि का आयोजन किया गया | छात्रों ने इस गतिविधि के दौरान ,स्वयं को भारत की नदियों के रूप में प्रस्तुत कर जुड़ी हुई सम्पूर्ण जानकारी बताई जैसे विस्तार, दिशा, राज्य, संगम और क्षेत्रफल इत्यादि | छात्रों ने अपनी कल्पनाशक्ति एवं रचनात्मकता के आधार पर विषयांश को आकर्षक रूप से प्रस्तुत किया | छात्रों में आत्मविश्वास, भाषायी कौशल, जिज्ञासा, पाठ की नैतिक/ मौलिक शिक्षा को आत्मसात करवाना, सामान्य ज्ञान को बढ़ावा देना ही इस गतिविधि का मुख्य उद्देश्य था |
