The morning assembly helps us cultivate a sense of belonging in the school. It is an exercise in self-discipline and we learn to respect and appreciate what others have done for us. It is a channel to share information related to school life such as club activities and extracurricular activities.
The morning assembly is conducted every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday mornings are for Mass PT. On this page we share a few glimpses of some notable assemblies of the month.
TREES - THE LUNGS OF THE EARTH

COURAGE HOUSE
Until you dig a hole, you plant a tree, you water it and make it survive, you haven't done a thing. You are just talking"- Wangari Maathai
On the 2nd of August, students of Courage House presented a breath-taking assembly. The theme was ``Trees the lungs of Earth". The students spoke about how trees help in the supply of oxygen in the air and regulate greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. Their ideas were surely intuitive and intriguing.
The conduction was done by Avanti Katkorea of VII A. The thought of the day was shared by Nishad Pawar of 7th A. Pranamya presented the NEWS headlines. Tanay Chajjar presented a beautiful poem. At the end of the assembly, Tanuja Madam gave us an eye-opening teacher's talk about how an immobile tree contributes to the balance of air in the atmosphere, while we busy humans are wiping everything off the face of the earth.

FRIENDSHIP DAY

SERVICE HOUSE
A friend does not walk before you so you can follow,
he walks beside you so he can catch you if you fall.
A remarkable and very enthusiastic assembly was conducted by Service House on 5 August 2022. The assembly was dedicated to Friendship Day. Nikhar from Grade VII B updated us on the happenings around the world and an appealing thought was shared by young Kartiki from Grade IV. Soumil from VII A told us that the world celebrates Friendship Day on 30th June, but India celebrates it on the first Sunday of August. His classmate, Sahasrajeet told us about the significance of the day
We sang the National Anthem with patriotic fervour before the assembly dispersed.

International Youth Day

WISDOM HOUSE
Students of Wisdom House presented an inspiring assembly on International Youth Day. The assembly was conducted by Jahanvi Pawar and Vanshika Rajput. Mohammed Attar of Grade VII B set the ball rolling with the thought for the day. Fazal of VIIB presented the NEWS Headlines. Some interesting facts about the day were shared by Aditya of Grade IX B. A poem written by Samasti Chauhan of Grade IX was presented by Arya.
The assembly concluded with a talk by Ms Neelam Soni and the rendition of the National Anthem.
Janmashtami

HARMONY HOUSE
Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. According to the Hindu calendar, this festival is celebrated on the Ashtami of Krishna Paksh or the 8th day of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadrapad. This day indicated the beginning of hope in the older times; hope, that the malicious rule of Kansa would soon end.
Janmashtami was celebrated on the 18th of August, 2022 with mirth and joy. The children of Harmony House dressed as Lord Krishna and showcased different Leelas of Shri Krishna like eating makhan, defeating the Kaliya Nag, picking up Govardhan parvat to save people and giving Geeta Gyan to Arjun .
Through the assembly, the children gave the message that God exists in all life forms and so we must never give up hope.
