APPROACH
Theoretical/project based
Starting from the basic principles of level design, the course introduces the students to the management of graphic assets within Unity. Over the study itinerary the students will learn how to control 3D characters, environments and props, and how to apply the basic principles of animation.
The programme consists of one single module, which grants 6 credits.
Successful students will be able to:
Identify the main techniques and uses of modeling and animation
Carry out a critical analysis of existing projects
Develop complex projects based on customized assets
Management of graphic assets: environments, characters, props
Basic principles of animation
This is a theoretical/project based course.
The students will take part in the following activities, which may vary depending on the development of different projects:
Classroom lectures
Use of tutorials, videos or other media tools
Exercises and revisions
Workshops
Individual or group projects
Individual or group study and research
Assessment tools may include:
Completion of a project
Oral exam
