APPROACH
Theoretical/project based
The course aims at showing the theoretical foundations of design, as well as the main methodologies of Design Thinking for the creation and development of “concepts”. Starting with a historical overview of what ideas and projects mean, the students will learn how to manage a project in 4 phases: research, synthesis, conception, implementation. Parallel to this theoretical-project based path, the acquired competencies will be applied to the CGI work pipeline.
The programme grants 10 credits, divided as follows:
RESEARCH METHODS: 5 CFA
DESIGN METHODS: 5 CFA
Successful students will be able to:
Design a process that can mediate between involved parties
Carry out a critical analysis of existing projects
Understand the own position, roles and functions within a project process
Relate to the various actors that take part into the process

Sasics of VFX Supervision in post-production
This is a theoretical/project based course.
The students will take part in the following activities, which may vary depending on the development of different projects:
Classroom lectures
Use of tutorials, videos or other media tools
Exercises and revisions
Workshops
Individual or group projects
Individual or group study and research
Assessment tools may include:
Completion of a project
Oral exam
