Nanay Linda opts to prepare the lot for camote tops. She fully understands the importance of DepED Programs, including the Gulayan sa Paaralan which is why she supports the call for the assistance of the school anytime.

GULAYAN SA PAARALAN
Planting and Cleaning at Gulayan sa Paaralan is one of the activities conducted at Panarayon Elementary School. It has been participated by the principal, teachers, student interns, and most especially the learner's parents. The goal of the activity is to maintain the cleanliness and beautification of the Gulayan sa Paaralan. As a student teacher at Panarayon Elementary School, I can say that our school has a strong connection with the community, the parents of the students, and another organizational groups in the community. I witnessed how parents actively participate in school activities.
Throughout the activity, I have realized that school alone cannot address all of a child's developmental needs: The meaningful line of parents in the involvement at school is essential. A line that gives direction to a significant outcome. I have realized that without the parents' presence and efforts, other organizational groups proposed activities in the school are not achievable. Beneficial activities for the children would be limited. As a future teacher, I will not let that happen. I will make sure that I will have a good connection with the parents and another organizational group. To achieve that, my weapon is through communication. Communication not only conveys information but encourages effort, modifies attitudes, and simulates thinking. In other words, it is being an effective communicator. I will become an effective communicator, a convincing and inspiring communicator. I will incorporate technology to spread my messages to all community people. Technology will help me quickly get them informed of our school's activities, problems, and happenings.
Aside from that, I realized that I should have the quality of being friendly and humane. I should have the quality of being a good leader. A leader who helps the community grow and maintain love and care for one another.
