LINE OF COMMUNICATION
Teachers alone cannot address all of a child's development needs. They need the meaningful involvement of parents and support from the community. As a future teacher, I can say that parents and teachers play a pivotal role in educating or molding the child since parents and teachers have the same goal: to facilitate the best educational experience possible for students and achieve quality education. As a team, parents, and teachers can work to create the best possible environment to foster physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being for students.
As a future teacher, I realize how important the line of communication is between the parents and teachers. The communication sequence must be practical and frequent to achieve a good relationship. Active involvement of parents in school activities, programs, and the meeting is necessary. Active participation in meeting such as HRPTA and or general engagement can build a strong line of communication since both can share their suggestions and feedback. Parents are willing to lend or give a helping hand when they know that teachers are actively communicating with them. Parents can provide effective feedback to the teacher about their child's learning and experience inside the classroom or school. Parents can suggest important projects that can improve inside and outside the school.
When parents and teachers have a strong line of communication or build a strong relationship, the school objective is achievable. Indeed, a strong line of communication creates a better foundation.
