Project Overview
The Oyster-Adams Bilingual educational program has recently been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as one of the National Blue Ribbon Schools for academic excellence. The Adams Campus (4th-8th grades) is located on 19th Street, NW. The District of Columbia Public Schools (“DCPS”) intends to build a school to serve 486 students. The anticipated program needs seventy-eight thousand two hundred and eighty-three (78,283) square feet. DCPS intends to renovate most of the existing building facilities and create a small addition to account for additional program space. The Design-Builder shall assume a complete renovation of the existing historic building and a new addition to accommodate the new program. The Design-Builder shall assume a complete modernization of the site.
