Welcome to Korean class!
This course enables students to study Korean language and literature through the conceptual understanding of communication, connection, creativity and perspective. The focus of learning Korean is connecting myself and the world around us and to solve problems that we face everyday. We will be appreciating a variety of literary texts and non-literary works throughout the year to explore ideas, think critically, and represent opinions in creative ways.
(Quarter 1)
In Unit 1, students will have opportunities to explore various literary works written in different perspectives. By learning the types and effects of 'point of view' in the texts, students will be able to understand how point of view affects the story itself and the readers as well.
