ACTFL Exit level: Novice Mid/ Novice High
Middle School Beginner is an introductory course for students with little or no prior experience with the language. It is designed to build a strong foundation and provide students with opportunities to use the target language from day one. Students at this level use words, phrases, and occasionally sentences to communicate. They can understand and use practiced and memorized familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. Can interact in a limited way for topics that have been practiced in a controlled setting previously, provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

GOOGLE CLASSROOM - All assignments will be posted in Google Classroom. If you are having trouble locating it, contact the teacher.
RUBRICS AND POLICIES - Once posted here they will not change. However, if a chance is necessary the teacher will inform students well in advance and will clearly mark the changes.
