RLA - Reading/Language Arts

Dallas ISD Reading/Language Arts Assignments:

✎ Read or listen to a story. After reading, talk with someone about the main character. Describe the main character. What did he/she do in the story? Why did he/she act the way he/she did?

✎ Write at least two complete sentences to tell about your favorite character in the story. Draw a picture to go along with your sentences.

✎ Do Chores - Give your child a broom, mop, rake, or dust rag and get to cleaning together. It’s all in the attitude - if you act like this is a fun game (β€œLet’s see if we can sweep the kitchen before the song ends!”), your child will pitch in with glee .
