Good Morning 1A Students and Parents!

Here are today’s assignments:

• Attendance/Check-In – Send me a message in Class Dojo, to my phone, or to my e-mail (sdugger@dallasisd.org) with the answer to this question: My favorite 3D shape is a _____. This is for our daily attendance.

• Phonics/Spelling (10 minutes)

  • Read each spelling word. Write each word 3 times. play, grain, sail, mail, may, rain, way, day, stay, pain

• Reading (30 minutes)

  • Read the passage at the bottom of this page, Where Birds Make Nests, and answer the questions. Write your answers on a separate piece of paper, or print them, and send me a picture when you are done.

  • For additional practice – login to Clever and go to IStation, Education Galaxy, Flocabulary, or Ed or log into Epic and read some books!

• Math (30 minutes)

  • Watch the videos about the Attributes of Three-Dimensional Solids (Digital Lesson 15.2 and Math on the Spot 15.2) and then complete the 3D shapes workbook pages 552, 553, 554, and 556 at the bottom of this page or in your Go Math book, Volume 2. Write your answers on a separate piece of paper, or print them, and send me a picture when you are done.

  • For additional practice – login to Clever and go to Istation, Education Galaxy, or Flocabulary!

• Science (30 minutes)

  • Watch the video about desert habitats. Write or draw about something you learned from the video and send me a picture when you are done.
